Born and raised amidst the rolling hills of Zurich, Sven Schiefer began by mastering the speed of downhill and the adrenaline rush of freeride. However, his search for a deeper connection with the board led him to discover freestyle, where he has developed his own calm and extremely technical style that defines him as a rider today.
Sven is a purist of movement. His specialty is balance tricks and, above all, turns (shuvits and spins), which he masters in endless variations with astonishing fluidity. For him, skating is a form of meditation; he often rides alone, letting the music dictate the rhythm and surrendering completely to a flow that embodies peace and tranquility.
