Javi, or “Javichu” to his close friends, is proof that the spirit of surfing knows no distance from the sea. Although his roots are in Huelva, it was his time in the Canary Islands that sparked his connection with bodyboarding and surfing. Upon returning to the mainland, that need to flow found a new stage: the asphalt of Madrid.
After a necessary hiatus, Javichu returned four years ago stronger than ever, demonstrating that the passion for riding has no expiration date. His style stands out for its versatile elegance; Javichu flows with the same naturalness in the chaos of a bowl, the momentum of a pump track, or the endless lines of a skatepark.
For him, every session is an opportunity to recapture the feeling of the sea. The surfskate is his tool for “surfing” the concrete, always surrounded by his group of friends in meetups where fun and camaraderie are the central focus.
Whether on water or land, his ability to read the perfect line makes him a technical and fluid rider who inspires the entire Madrid community.
